Wanted to do something a little different today and get away
from the crowds choking the narrow streets of Fira and so hiked out past the
edge of edge of town and along a stretch of desolate coastline that we had
ridden along several times by bus. Was
very pleased to stumble upon the Asimis Kolaitou Art Gallery and spent some
time chatting with curator Stamatis Patiniotis about the exhibits and in the
course of our discussion learned a number of interesting things about Santorini
from him.
